The Strainrite Wedge Clamp is a specialized fencing tool designed for tensioning wire, netting, and mesh in agricultural, livestock, and boundary fencing applications. It features a press-formed steel strainer board with a unique wedge mechanism that "sandwiches" the wire between plates, secured by steel wedges. This design provides a secure, slippage-resistant hold during installation and long-term use. Available in various sizes (e.g., 900mm/35", 1320mm/52", 1530mm/60", 1900mm, and 2600mm), it is galvanized for corrosion resistance and compatible with most mesh types, including hinged, ring joint, high-tensile, mild steel, woven wire, sheep wire, and horse mesh. It is often used in sets with boundary strainers for efficient two-person operation.
